Adam Lempel is a user experience designer and photographer living in New York City.

His work is driven by new approaches to UX design based on human centered design principles and user research. After completing a masters degree in design from Utrecht University of the Arts and a bachelors in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University, he has worked in both the music design and user experience design spaces on projects for C&A, Massive Music, POP Charge, Elementem Photography and JeanPierreWeill.com. He currently is a Lead Instructor in UX Design at General Assembly. Songwriting and taking photos of people he meets on the street are some of his favorite things to do in his spare time and he recently picked up surfing.

Adam’s photography has been featured in i-D Magazine and S Magazine and he had a solo show at Ponyboy in December 2019. He is a contributor to the 35s and 45s collective and was included in their group show in May 2019.

He writes and records music under his own name and plays with the bands Sourdoe and Weekends.
